Positions and Careers
The Federal Teaching Position and Career Plan comprises the career of Higher Teaching (MS) and Teaching of Basic, Technical and Technological Education (EBTT); Isolated position of effective provision, higher level, Full-Titular Professor of MS and EBTT. It is organized into classes and levels with a total of 13 positions, with different nomenclatures, structural isonomy, remuneration, and a 19-year path to reach the top of the career.

II – Remuneration by Title – RT
The entry into the Federal Institution Higher Education Teaching Career – (IFES) will always occur in the first level of salary of the Class of both careers, upon approval in a public examination.
The development in the Higher Teaching Career will occur through functional progression and promotion upon approval in performance evaluation and fulfillment of the gap of 24 (twenty-four) months of effective exercise at each level.
RSC – EBTT
For the Career of Basic, Technical and Technological Education Teaching, there is the Recognition of Knowledge and Skills (RSC), which allows the perception of remuneration equivalent to a higher degree, through evaluation. The creation of the Recognition of Knowledge and Skills (RSC) for the EBTT career took place in a period when there was no career with an adequate structure, qualification incentive programs, public examinations for the adjustment of teachers from the former career of teachers at the 1st and 2nd degrees, currently EBTT.
